is_scalar_type function

brian2.units.fundamentalunits.is_scalar_type(obj)

Tells you if the object is a 1d number type.

Parameters:

obj : object

The object to check.

Returns:

scalar : bool

True if obj is a scalar that can be interpreted as a dimensionless Quantity.
